Tidsskrift for Den norske legeforening, also known as The Journal of the Norwegian Medical Association, is a distinguished peer-reviewed scientific journal and membership magazine dedicated to serving the Norwegian Medical Association, with its content primarily published in Norwegian and scientific articles translated into English. Established in 1881, the journal adheres to the guidelines set by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors and is associated with several esteemed organizations, including the Norwegian Trade Press Association and the Committee on Publication Ethics. Transitioning to online publishing in 1996, it has made all its content freely accessible since January 1, 2000, and has continuously enhanced its digital platform, migrating to Drupal 8 in 2021 to better support scientific publishing needs, including XML-import capabilities and integration with indexing systems such as Pubmed. The publication stands out for its reliability, commitment to high editorial standards, and robust online presence, making it a leading resource for healthcare professionals.
