With a focus on the atmospheric and related Earth system science fields, NCAR enhances research by offering state-of-the-art resources such as supercomputers, research aircraft, advanced computer models, and comprehensive data sets. The organization leverages its team of distinguished researchers and engineers to collaborate with community partners, ensuring that their offerings are aligned with contemporary scientific challenges. Through rigorous fundamental research, NCAR contributes significantly to scientific literature, guiding the broader Earth system science community. Moreover, NCAR fosters education and outreach through programs that support early career scientists and offer public lectures and workshops.
