Who We Are
The International University of Sarajevo (IUS), established in 2003 and officially opened in the 2004/2005 academic year, stands as a prominent institution for higher education and research in Bosnia and Herzegovina, designed to foster a dynamic and diverse learning environment for approximately 2,000 students from 47 countries. IUS is committed to offering a comprehensive and internationally recognized curriculum across its five faculties, including Engineering and Natural Sciences, Business and Administration, Arts and Social Sciences, Law, and Education, with all instruction conducted in English, ensuring accessibility through intensive language programs for non-proficient students. The university's vision positions it as a leading educational hub in the Balkans, aimed at cultivating qualified graduates who can contribute to socio-economic development and intercultural understanding.
