Greater London Authority

The Greater London Authority, which encompasses the office of the Mayor of London and the London Assembly, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all individuals interacting with the city. The Mayor, elected every four years, currently Sadiq Khan since May 2016, establishes the budget and spearheads initiatives aimed at improving London. The London Assembly, comprised of 25 elected members, plays a crucial role in holding the Mayor accountable by scrutinizing decisions and actions to ensure the fulfillment of commitments to Londoners, which they achieve through various forms of public examination. Since launching a new website built with Drupal 7 in November 2015, the Greater London Authority continues to refine its engagement and information delivery to better serve the needs of the community.
