DrupalSouth serves as the premier regional conference for the Drupal community in Australia and New Zealand, having evolved from its origins in New Zealand in 2008 to its current form adopted by Australia in 2014. This esteemed event typically draws 200-400 participants and showcases a range of local and international speakers, carefully selected by a peer review panel, reaffirming the conference's commitment to quality and expertise. Financially supported by Linux Australia and managed by a dedicated team of local volunteers under the guidance of the DrupalSouth Steering Committee, the conference reinvests any modest profits into advancing Drupal and open-source software initiatives, thereby strengthening the community. Additionally, DrupalSouth upholds strong affiliations with the global Drupal Association and implements policies, including the DrupalSouth Code of Conduct, to ensure a professional and inclusive environment.
