Who We Are
The DDI Contrib team effectively enhances product development by prioritizing diversity and inclusion from its inception, addressing the current lack of diverse representation in tech and specifically within the Drupal community. By intentionally recruiting members from various backgrounds, the team is well-equipped to foster an inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives and promotes collaboration. Smaller team structures enable personalized mentoring, facilitating the establishment of a supportive environment that is more likely to meet organizational objectives compared to ad-hoc efforts. Recognizing the importance of intersectionality, the DDI Contrib team considers multiple facets of identity—including race, gender, sexuality, and other factors—ensuring a comprehensive approach to cultivating diversity in Drupal and web development.
