Momentum Mozgalom
Who We Are
Momentum Mozgalom, founded in May 2017, is a prominent centrist political party in Hungary that has rapidly established itself as a significant force within the nation's political landscape. Originally formed in early 2015 by a dedicated group of Hungarians, it registered as an association in November 2016 under the leadership of lawyer Dániel Károly Csala. The organization successfully spearheaded a referendum campaign regarding Budapest's bid for the 2024 Summer Olympics, demonstrating its capacity to engage the public with over 1,800 activists at the time. Following its official recognition as a political party, Momentum has effectively expanded its membership to over 3,000, positioning itself as the second strongest party in Hungary and showcasing its capability to influence national discourse and policy.
